MANAS Delegates Met Housing and Public Works Minister

On 23 April 2024, MANAS Anti-tobacco met Mr. Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury MP, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Housing and Public Works regarding tobacco taxation & others priority issues. The delegates led by Prof. Dr. ArupRatan Choudhury, the Founder President of MANAS while Senior Technical Advisor of Vital Strategies Adv. Syed Mahbubul Alam, Project Manager of Bureau of Economic Research (BER) Mr. Hamidul Islam Hillol, Project Coordinator of MANAS, Umme Jannat and Senior Project and Communication Officer Abu Rayhan were also present in the meeting. Hon’ble Minister assured his support in tobacco control.
